JOB PURPOSE
To ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of the organization’s on‑premise and cloud infrastructure by managing core systems, resolving advanced technical issues, and supporting continuous improvement of IT operations. The role upholds a collaborative, service‑oriented office culture focused on reliability, transparency, and structured delivery.
ROLE SUMMARY
- Lead administration of servers, cloud platforms, and core infrastructure services.
- Serve as Level 3 escalation for complex system, network, and application incidents.
- Implement and enforce best practices for security, performance, and system governance.
- Support infrastructure upgrades, modernization efforts, and technical projects.
- Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams within a structured and people‑focused environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to team knowledge and capability development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Infrastructure & Systems Management
- Administer and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related services.
- Manage Azure, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Support and optimize virtualization platforms (Hyper‑V/VMware).
- Monitor performance, availability, and system health to ensure operational stability.
Security & Compliance
- Implement patching, endpoint protection, MFA/identity controls, and backup/DR solutions.
- Ensure systems adhere to policies, security standards, and compliance requirements.
- Support audit readiness and maintain structured configuration records.
Incident, Problem & Change Management
- Provide Level 3 escalation and perform root cause analysis for complex incidents.
- Support change management activities, including planning, testing, and implementation.
- Recommend long‑term solutions to enhance stability and prevent recurring issues.
Documentation & Collaboration
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation including SOPs, runbooks, and system diagrams.
- Work closely with IT teams, stakeholders, and operational units to ensure reliable service delivery.
- Share knowledge, support team development, and align with a culture of continuous improvement.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in systems administration or infrastructure engineering.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure/Entra ID, and virtualization technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to handle advanced escalations and complex troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with ITIL or structured service delivery practices.
Preferred
- Technical certifications such as AZ‑104, MS‑102, VMware, ITIL Foundation, or similar.
- Experience in enterprise, hybrid, or managed service environments.
- PowerShell or automation experience.
- Experience mentoring junior staff or serving as a technical SME.
