Communication designers from Guild Solutions Inc. (GSI) took part in Graphika Manila 2026, one of Asia’s most anticipated creative conferences, held on 7–8 March at the SMX Convention Center Manila in Pasay City.

Designers Sam Sutare, Lynze Goc-ong, and Rey Genbert Legaspi attended the two-day conference, which brought together designers, illustrators, animators, and creatives from across the Philippines and around the world. Now in its 21st year, Graphika Manila continues to serve as a major platform for creative professionals and students to learn from industry leaders and exchange ideas in design, illustration, animation, and digital media.

The event featured 12 talks from internationally recognised creatives, including Filipino artists whose work has gained global recognition, alongside speakers from countries such as the United States, Sweden, and Indonesia. Among the notable speakers were illustrator Lei Melendres, photographer Geloy Concepcion, creative duo Wade Jeffree and Leta Sobierajski of Wade & Leta, creative director Rich Tu, and Swedish agency co-founder Freddie Öst of Snask

Through personal stories, creative processes, and professional insights, the speakers shared advice and experiences intended to inspire both emerging and established designers. The conference also offered networking opportunities for creatives and included conference kits featuring the annual Graphika Art Book.

For GSI designer Lynze Goc-ong, the event was both inspiring and relatable.

“It’s nice to hear stories from fellow designers who we can say ‘made it’ and kind of identify with their stories and have hopes that I, myself, can turn my career and passion around as a young and aspiring artist,” Goc-ong said. “Also, seeing lots of different art styles and design is so refreshing.”

Graphika Manila has grown into a key gathering for the creative community, drawing thousands of attendees over the years and showcasing innovative work from both local and international artists.

For Sutare, Goc-ong, and Legaspi, the conference provided an opportunity not only to learn from industry leaders but also to reconnect with the broader creative community and bring fresh inspiration back to their work at GSI.
